Preparation method

In a deep pot, sauté the onions with a small spoonful of olive oil until softened.

Add the lentils, carrots and cumin and stir for two minutes to release the flavors.

Add water and bring the soup to a boil, then cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes.

Use a hand blender to blend the soup until smooth and serve with fresh lemon.
