Psychological and behavioral rehabilitation: How can you ensure you never relapse into addiction?

Did you know that 80% cases of relapse (return to drugs) occur because the patient was satisfied with “cleaning his body” and ignored “treating his thoughts”? At JOMEDIX Recovery, we believe that detox is just the beginning, but the real treatment starts here.

“The drug is not the problem, the drug is your wrong way of running away from the problem. If we don’t address the reason for running away, you will go back to it.”

What is a psychological rehabilitation program?

It is an intensive program (usually lasting from 28 days to 3 months depending on the case) aimed at rebuilding the recovering addict’s personality so that they can face life without the “crutch” of drugs.

The three pillars of treatment in our centers:

1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Here, we sit down with you to understand: What drives you to use drugs? (Is it anxiety? Anger? Boredom?) We'll teach you mental techniques to control these emotions and change the "brain connections" that link happiness and drugs.

2. Group Therapy Sessions

You won't feel alone. You'll be sitting with people who have been through the same thing, sharing their successes and challenges. This group support is the strongest weapon against feelings of shame or isolation.

3. Relapse Prevention

We teach you how to identify your triggers. For example: How would you react if an old friend offered you drugs? How can you cope with work stress without resorting to pills? We give you tools to protect yourself in the outside world.

🌳 Therapeutic environment: Our centers in Jordan feature spacious gardens, swimming pools, and gyms. We believe that "a sound mind in a sound body," and that exercise is an essential part of our treatment plan to naturally boost happiness hormones.

Advisor Abu Aoun's final words 🛡️

“Many parents tell me: ‘Abu Aoun, we want him to get out quickly.’ My advice as a brother: Don’t rush his release. Give him time to get proper treatment. The extra month he spends in rehabilitation will save him years of wasted time in the future. Investing in rehabilitation is an investment in your son’s life.”
