On 14/5/2015… a day I will never forget as long as I live.
At that time, war was engulfing Libya, and a shell fell on our house.
In an instant… I lost my son.
At that same moment… my soul and body broke together.
I sustained major injuries to my pelvis and thigh, multiple fractures, and most seriously… a cut in the main artery supplying my right leg.
They treated me in Libya, they fixed the bones from the outside, then I was transferred to Tunisia.
Three and a half months of operations: artery grafting, skin grafting, plates and rods…
But the artery became blocked, the fingers began to turn black, they had to amputate a finger, and the infections were eating away at the bone and tissue.
I returned to Libya… and my condition worsens every day.
Ulcers… pain… the smell of inflammation… and one sentence from every doctor:
“We have to amputate the whole leg… from the pelvis.”

I arrived in Jordan on 13/11/2015.
I went to many hospitals… no one gave me a solution other than amputation.
I was crying as I heard the same sentence repeated… “The only solution is amputation.”.
But God had written a different path for me.
On 05/03/2016 I entered the Specialized Hospital, a story of being saved from amputation, and that's where my story truly began to change…
When my topic reached a different kind of man… a human being before being an official:

For the first time, I felt that someone genuinely cared about me.
